The Hug is a work of Klimt.
Lovers turn their backs on the world by hiding behind the healthy ornaments of the Jugendstil in a rigid embrace. These figures are part of a decorative mosaic design in the frieze of the dining room of the “Palais Stocklet” in Brussels.
The embrace was born around 1905-09.
This hand made reproduction. Each piece is unique and accompanied by certification. Made of stone and marble dust which are bonded by means of synthetic resin. This technique ensures that it has a solid and durable quality.
